The collection at the Patty Look Lewis Gallery centers on important mid-century artists with strong regional connections, such as painters Channing Peake and Selden Spaulding, collagist William Dole, and photographer Jesse Alexander. Many of the artists shown are known personally to Lewis, whose family has resided in the Santa Barbara area for five generations. Other artists included here share Lewis’s love of nature and color, qualities found in her own vibrant pastels.
